UK's Petershill Partners gains on potential $100 mln share repurchase

** Shares of Petershill Partners Plc PHLL.L jump as much
as 11% to 191.6p, their highest since November 2022
** Investment firm specialising in alternative investments
says it is considering launching a tender offer to purchase up
to $100 mln of co's shares
** PHLL says decision to be made by April end and approval
could be sought at forthcoming AGM
** Co posts FY IFRS profit after tax of $321 mln vs a loss
of $453 mln
** Stock among top pct gainers on FTSE 250 .FTMC index
** Stock at session high as at 1348 GMT, taking YTD gains to
~13%
