Brazil's Petrobras rises after strong Q2 production report

** Shares in Brazil's state-run oil firm Petrobras PETR3.SA rise after it reported strong Q2 production figures
** Total oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids output increased 14.1% year-on-year to 3.34 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the period
** Analysts at XP expect Petrobras to maintain production growth in the coming quarters, noting that the company benefits from government fuel subsidies
** Petrobras is up 2.8% midday, the top gainer on Brazil's benchmark stock index Bovespa .BVSP, which falls 1.1% 
** The stock is up 50.5% year-to-date
