Petrobras' net profit nearly doubles in the second quarter SAO PAULO, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Brazilian state-run oil firm Petrobras PETR4.SA posted on Thursday a 96.8% jump in its second-quarter net profit from a year earlier.
Petrobras reported a 52.4 billion reais ($10.25 billion) net profit for the April-June quarter, above the 44.7 billion reais expected in an LSEG poll.
