Petrobras likely to exceed oil production forecast for the year, says CEO RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Brazil's state-run oil firm Petrobras PETR3.SA will "very likely" exceed its forecast for oil production in 2026, CEO Magda Chambriard told analysts during an earnings call on Friday.
Chambriard said oil production for the second quarter was 200,000 barrels per day above the company's goal. For the year so far, the firm has produced on average 2.6 million bpd, over its 2.5 million bpd projection.
