Petrobras sends oil from offshore Foz do Amazonas well for analysis RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Brazil's Petrobras PETR3.SA has sent oil from a well drilled off the northern coast of the country for analysis, said Sylvia Anjos, head of exploration and production for the state-run oil firm, during a press conference on Monday.
The oil found "looks very good" but still needs further analysis at Petrobras' research center, said Anjos, adding the successful drilling in Foz do Amazonas allowed the firm to ascertain where the next three planned wells will be drilled.
