RNS Number : 2630PDynex Quantum Technologies AG04 August 2026Dynex Joins QuIIN, Brazil's Quantum Industrial Innovation Hub, to Build Cross-Border Pathways in Quantum TechnologyNew strategic partnership gives Dynex a foothold in one of Latin America's leading quantum innovation ecosystems, laying the groundwork for joint research, knowledge-sharing, and industrial-scale quantum deployment.
BAAR, SWITZERLAND, August 4, 2026 - Dynex, a leading award-winning global technology company headquartered in Switzerland, developing and deploying quantum and quantum-driven solutions at industrial scale, powered by Dynex's proprietary Quantum-as-a-Service (QaaS) technologies, today, announced it has joined QuIIN, the Quantum Industrial Innovation hub, as a technology partner. The partnership establishes a formal framework through which Dynex will collaborate with QuIIN's network of companies, researchers, startups, and institutions on the development of quantum computing and quantum communication technologies for Brazilian industry, strengthening the Brazilian Quantum Ecosystem.
A national platform for quantum innovation
QuIIN is Brazil's first quantum industrial innovation hub, established in 2023 through a R$60 million investment and cooperation agreement between SENAI CIMATEC, Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), and the Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company (EMBRAPII). Coordinated by SENAI CIMATEC, one of Brazil's leading technology and innovation institutes, QuIIN's mission is to accelerate the country's leading role in the global quantum technology landscape by connecting research, infrastructure, talent, and industrial demand under a single national platform.
QuIIN's work spans research and experimentation, talent, infrastructure access, startup ecosystem engagement, and collaborative technology pathways in quantum computing and quantum communication. Its guiding purpose is to move quantum technologies out of the laboratory and into practical use across Brazilian industry, built on values of open collaboration, applied research, and shared infrastructure that lowers the barrier for companies, researchers, and startups to work with quantum technology together.
QuIIN's associated partners span banking, energy, telecommunications, digital innovation, applied research, and quantum technology development. Its network includes leading Brazilian financial institution Banco BV, alongside Petrobras, Venturus, JobsLit, Quantumloop, EvolutionQ, INNEX, IC In.Lab, and CPQD. The presence of major financial services and energy players within the QuIIN ecosystem underscores the initiative's role not only as a research and infrastructure program, but as a national industrial platform connecting quantum expertise directly with enterprise demand, a dynamic that positions Dynex to engage with some of Brazil's most significant commercial sectors as the collaboration develops.
As a QuIIN partner, Dynex will contribute its technical expertise and technology capabilities, including access to its proprietary Quantum-as-a-Service (QaaS) technologies, its cloud-based qubit-agnostic platform, and the development and demonstration of quantum-driven solutions, to use cases identified jointly with QuIIN and its members.
Through the partnership, organizations within the QuIIN network will also gain a pathway to Dynex's scalable cloud-based qubit-agnostic platform and optimization capabilities, giving members an accessible route to developing, testing, and deploying real-world quantum applications across industry use cases.
"Quantum adoption will not happen in isolation. It requires trusted ecosystems, strong research partners, and a clear focus on real-world problems," said Daniela Herrmann, CEO and Founder of Dynex. "Our collaboration with QuIIN and SENAI CIMATEC reflects exactly that approach: connecting global quantum technologies and quantum driven solutions with local industrial ambition. We're looking forward to sitting down with the QuIIN team to identify where our technology can make the most immediate impact."
As quantum becomes increasingly critical to competitiveness, cybersecurity, sustainability, and infrastructure resilience, partnerships like this one, bridging advanced research, industrial experimentation, and scalable deployment, will help define who leads the next era of global quantum development.
"The future of quantum technologies will be shaped by ecosystems that are able to connect research, infrastructure, talent, and industry demand," said Valéria Loureiro da Silva, Coordinator of QuIIN. "Dynex is the first international leading company to join the QuIIN ecosystem, contributing to the development of quantum technologies in Brazil. Through this collaboration, QuIIN and Dynex aim to help demonstrate the potential benefits and practical applications of quantum technologies for industry, supporting the growth of an emerging ecosystem."
