Bargain buying in technology stocks drove Wall Street higher on Monday following
a slump related to Omicron, while the Dow Jones lagged its peers as major banks
fell and investors awaited more information on the new coronavirus variant.  .N 
    At 12:41 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.97% at
35,237.22. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.49% at 4,663.14 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 2.04% at 15,807.89.
