    Italy reported 499 coronavirus-related deaths on Wednesday
against 634 the day before, the health ministry said, while the
daily tally of new infections fell to 12,756 from 14,842.

    Italy's two houses of parliament gave the go-ahead on
Wednesday for Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to approve a
contested reform of the euro zone's bailout fund, known as the

    French businessman Vincent Bollore has further reduced his
stake in Italy's top investment bank to 4.3%, according to a
filing posted on Wednesday on the website of market watchdog

    Samson Rock Capital held a 4.2% stake in the Italian bank as

    The holding company of Italy's Agnelli family said on
Wednesday it would invest around 80 million euros through a
reserved capital increase to become the largest shareholder of

    The Peugeot family holding company FFP said on Wednesday it
had raised its stake in French carmaker PSA by 2% to 14.38%, as

    Developers of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), which has
the Italian gas infrastructure company among its shareholders,
have started feasibility studies on blending hydrogen with the
