** Shares of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology PV.DE jump 5% in
early Frankfurt trade after the German vacuum pump maker reports
a rise in preliminary 9-month figures and raises FY sales
guidance
** "Higher sales and stable margin outlook should help
battered stock," a local trader says
** The company's 9-month group sales rise 16.2% to 668.7 mln
euros ($658.8 mln), with EBIT up 27% at 94 mln euros
** It increases 2022 sales target to 860-880 mln euros, or
11-14% growth, vs previous outlook of 5% or more; EBIT margin
guidance unchanged at around 14%
** It says the outlook does not yet include any potential
negative impact from U.S. trade restrictions on chips, equipment
for China
** The stock is at the top of the German small-cap index
