North Sea Crude ‑ Steady for second day on lack of bids and offers

North Sea Crude ‑ Steady for second day on lack of bids and offers

- North Sea and U.S. WTI Midland crude differentials were steady on Friday, traders said, after a lack of bids, offers or deals in the Platts window for benchmark grades for a second session.

PLATTS WINDOW

  • Indications are free on board (FOB) unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place.

  • No indications in Fridays' window for benchmark grades, a market source said.

  • Johan Sverdrup: Equinor bid for a cargo of this grade, the source said. Sverdrup is not one of the the six benchmark grades that set the dated Brent value.

  • Brent valued at dated Brent plus 89 cents remains the lowest priced of the six grades and so it sets the dated Brent value.
