UK's PHSC hits over 1-year high on share buyback plan

** Shares of PHSC Plc PHSC.L surge as much as 36% to
25.1p, their highest since July 28, 2022
** The UK-based safety and security services provider to buy
back up to 1.18 mln shares or worth 200,000 pounds ($253,900),
whichever is the lower
** Co says it intends to buy ordinary shares in market as
well as in larger parcels
** PHSC to buy back shares for the third consecutive year
after successful buyback programmes in 2021 and 2022
** Stock currently up 25%, taking YTD gains to about 47%
($1 = 0.7877 pounds)
