Pinterest rises as it lifts quarterly revenue forecast

** Shares of Pinterest PINS.N rise 4.7% to $16.24 as the image-sharing platform lifts its first-quarter revenue outlook

** PINS now sees revenue between $958 million and $978 million, up from an earlier $951 million to $971 million, while analysts expect $964.9 million, according to data compiled by LSEG

** Co cuts its adjusted EDITDA forecast to a range of $163 million to $183 million, from $166 million to $186 million

** Pinterest revises forecasts to reflect a contribution to its financials from the newly acquired connected-TV (CTV) advertising platform tvScientific

** Up to last close, stock had fallen more than 40% YTD
