Stifel cuts digital ad growth forecast on geopolitical volatility, energy prices

** Stifel said it is lowering its forecast for global digital advertising growth to 7.3% from 8.3% this year due to geopolitical uncertainty and rising energy prices

** Brokerage also cuts 2027 global digital ad growth forecast to 6% from 7.3%

** Says budgets for platforms such as Alphabet's GOOGL.O Google and Facebook-parent Meta META.O, which have the largest audiences, are last to be cut

** Smaller platforms like Snap SNAP.N and Pinterest PINS.N are the most at risk of budget cuts - brokerage

** Shares of Snap down 1.9% at $4.73 premarket

** Stifel cuts SNAP PT to $4.5 from $5.5, implying ~7% downside to the stock's last close

** Trims META PT to $805 from $820; still implying ~28% upside to the stock's last close

** Meta shares down 1.1% at $622.83 in volatile trading before the bell
