premarket trade
** Co posts adj. Q4 earnings of $2.48/shr vs avg analysts'
est of $2.21/shr - LSEG
** Says it is on track to close its takeover of Pioneer
Natural Resources PXD.N around mid-year
** Co says results were driven by higher trading profits in
its fuels business and increased oil and gas production in the
U.S. and Guyana
** Co's Q4 net income falls to $7.63 bln vs $12.75 bln in
the year-ago quarter
** Up to last close, stock is up 2.4% YTD
