crude prices O/R
** Brent crude LCOc1 up 2.4% at $77.92/bbl and U.S. West
Texas Intermediate crude CLc1 up 2.5% at $72.50/bbl, as
geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and ongoing supply
outage in Libya offer support to prices
** Energy majors Exxon Mobil XOM.N and Chevron CVX.N
gain 0.9% and 0.7%, respectively
** Devon Energy DVN.N , APA Corp APA.O , Marathon Oil
MRO.N , EQT Corp EQT.N and Pioneer Natural Resources PXD.N
rise between 0.7% and 1%
** Oilfield services firms SLB SLB.N and Halliburton
HAL.N up 0.6% and 0.8%, respectively
