Wall Street tumbled on Thursday, mirroring a slump in global financial markets,
as U.S. Treasury yields surged to multi-year highs on robust economic data and
upbeat comments from the Federal Reserve, sparking fears of accelerating
inflation. .N 
    At 11:46 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.79 percent
at 26,615.54. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.78 percent at 2,902.61 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.48 percent at 7,906.657.
