Planisware launches $1.18 bln IPO on Euronext Paris (updated)

(Adds trading start date and context)
April 16 (Reuters) - French software company Planisware
PLNW.PA launched an initial public offering priced at 16 euros
per share on Tuesday, valuing it at 1.11 billion euros ($1.18
billion), the largest IPO on Euronext Paris in the last three
years.
Planisware had postponed its IPO in October, citing a
deteriorating market environment that had prompted caution among
investors.
The company will offer a maximum of 15,085,000 ordinary
shares to be sold for about 241 million euros, it said in a
statement.
Its founders will keep a majority stake following the IPO.
The shares are expected to start trading on April 18.
In October 2021, French cloud computing company OVHcloud
OVH.PA was priced at 18.50 euros per share for its IPO, giving
it a market capitalisation of around 3.5 billion euros.
