August 11 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes slipped on Tuesday, as losses in tech stocks weighed on sentiment, while investors assessed reports of potential deals that could take the Middle East towards stability.  .N
     
At  1330 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.20% at 53,868.31. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.29% at 7,730.86, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.59% at 26,448.77.
