** Drug developer's shares  PSTI.O  advance ~7 pct to $1.40
premarket after its cell therapy receives "orphan" status for
some more indications
    ** FDA grants "orphan" designation to Pluristem's
regenerative medicine PLX cell therapy for the treatment of
graft failure and incomplete recovery following stem cell

    ** "Orphan drug" is a status given to treatments addressing
diseases that affect less than 200,000 people, with benefits
like 7-year market exclusivity and tax credits
    ** FDA previously granted orphan status to co's product for
treatment of a pregnancy related complication pre-eclampsia and
a bone marrow disease aplastic anemia among others
    ** Stock down 5 pct this year
