U.S. stock indexes were on track to open higher on Monday as strong earnings and
a string of mergers lifted spirits, kicking off a busy week for inflation
watchers.  .N 
    At 9:08 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.44 percent at 24,390. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were up 0.18 percent at 2,676.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1 
were up 0.23 percent at 6,685.25.
