PNC Financial rises on Q1 profit beat

** Shares of U.S. bank PNC Financial PNC.N rise 1% to $156.87 premarket

** Company posts Q1 adjusted profit of $3.51 per share, beating Wall Street's estimates of $3.38, according to data compiled by LSEG

** Capital markets and advisory revenue rose 18% to $306 million, while asset management and brokerage revenue rose 7% to $391 million in Q1

** Lender's net income attributable to diluted common shareholders rose to $1.40 billion, or $3.51 per share, from $1.24 billion, or $3.10 per share, a year earlier

** Up to last close, stock had fallen 19.5% YTD
