Germany's PNE seeks Vietnam approval for $4.6 bln offshore wind project

HANOI, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Germany's PNE Group is seeking
approval from the Vietnamese government to develop a $4.6 bln
offshore wind farm in the Southeast Asian country, local
authorities said on Wednesday.
If licensed, the company would develop the wind farm with a
capacity of 2,000 megawatts in Binh Dinh province in central
Vietnam, the province's Department of Planning and Investment
said in a statement.
