Australia's Po Valley Energy soars on agreement with UK's BP Gas Marketing

** Shares of Po Valley Energy  PVE.AX  soar as much as 16.7%
to A$0.105, set for their best day since Jan. 23 - if gains hold
    ** Co, which owns a portfolio of natural gas fields, has
signed a gas sales agreement with BP Gas Marketing Ltd, a unit

    ** Says under contract, co and its joint venture partners
will supply an estimated 37,000,000 standard cubic metres of gas
from its Podere Maiar-1 facility in Italy
    ** Shares hit highest since Feb. 9
