Appointment of Director
 

Polar Capital Holdings PLC ("the Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Anand Aithal as a non-executive Director at the next meeting of
the Board on 17 January 2022.

 

Anand is an entrepreneur with expertise in knowledge-intensive professional
services organisations. He is a board member of Lifescale Ltd, a financial
technology firm and BPL (Holdings) Limited, a specialist insurance broker.
Anand is also a non-executive board member of the UK Cabinet Office and a
non-executive appointee to the Council Board of the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants.

 

He was a co-founder of Amba Investment Services Ltd, a leading provider of
data analysis services to the financial services industry. Previously, Anand
had been a managing director at Goldman Sachs where he gained extensive
business experience in international and emerging markets, having worked in
multiple locations in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

 

David Lamb, Chairman, commented "We are delighted that Anand has agreed to
join the Board.  He brings an entrepreneurial perspective and extensive
experience in investment research, data analytics and financial technology in
financial services and asset management businesses. We look forward to working
