    * Private placement shall be of 13.3 million units at a price of us$0.75 per 
unit 
    * Polymet announces US$10 million private placement 
    * Co intends to use net proceeds  primarily to advance its northmet project, 
for working capital, general corporate purposes 
    * Underwriter for offering has agreed to purchase 10 million units for 
US$7.5 million on a bought deal basis
