Polymetal International plc notes the recent press speculation and confirms that it is in discussions with Chaarat Gold (AIM:CGH) regarding the potential sale of the Kapan mine in Armenia. At this stage there is no certainty that a transaction will be agreed. A further announcement will be made in due course as appropriate.
