Fitch Affirms Polyus "BB-" rating, Outlook Positive
PJSC Polyus (LSE, MOEX- PLZL) ("Polyus", orthe "Company"), thelargest gold producer inRussia,notes that Fitch Ratings has assigned Polyus a Long-Term Issuer Default Rating ("IDR") of Polyus at "BB-" with Positive Outlook and a Short-Term IDR of "B".
Fitch has withdrawn the "BB-/Positive Outlook" rating of Polyus Gold International Limited ("PGIL") and will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage for PGIL. Thedecision follows thetransfer ofall rights andobligations under allthree outstanding Eurobond issues from PGIL toPolyus Finance Plc, awholly-owned subsidiary ofPolyus.
Fitch has also affirmed "BB-" rating for the $750 million Eurobonds 2020, $500 million Eurobonds 2022 and the $800 million Eurobonds 2023 issued by Polyus Finance Plc.
