MOSCOW, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Russia's largest gold producer
Polyus PLZL.MM said on Tuesday its third-quarter net profit
rose 80 percent year-on-year to $390 million due to non-cash
items, including a foreign exchange gain and a gain on
derivatives.
Its net profit excluding these factors rose 4 percent to
$295 million in the third quarter, with revenue up 11 percent to
$706 million on the back of higher gold prices, Polyus said in a
statement.
