Pony AI rises on SANY, Dongfeng autonomous trucks tie-up

** Hong Kong shares of Pony AI Inc 2026.HK rise 4.8% to HK$96.4

** U.S.-listed stock PONY.O rose 2.3% on Tuesday

** The autonomous driving technology group announced on Wednesday its collaborations with SANY Truck and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor to jointly develop fourth-generation autonomous trucks, which are set to significantly lower costs and increase efficiency in freight logistics

** Co said it has expanded its fleet to around 200 trucks since entering the autonomous trucking market in 2018, and secured the first autonomous truck road test permits and freight transport operation licenses in multiple regions across China

** Stock, which started trading in Hong Kong on Nov. 6, down 31.8% so far from the offer price of HK$139 apiece

** YTD, U.S.-listed shares down 13.2%
