In accordance with paragraph 9.6.14 R (2) of the Listing Rules, Paul Dean, Non-Executive Director, has advised that he will become an independent non-executive director of Wincanton plc from 1 February 2015. 
The Board is satisfied that Paul Dean's appointment with Wincanton plc complies with the UK Corporate Governance Code 2012.
