rise as much as 7.7% to 4,468.8 rupees, the highest level since Sept. 12
** POMP says it has new orders worth 21.92 Billion rupees ($263.7 million)
** Stock of POMP sees steepest intraday pct climb since Sept. 11, on track
for sixth consecutive session of gains
** Trading volumes at 6x the 30-day avg, crossing 100,000 shares level after
three months
** POMP up ~109.5% so far this year, set for third consecutive yearly gains
