NUCLEAR WARHEADS
Poland's president has called on the U.S. to transfer nuclear weapons to its territory as a deterrent against future Russian aggression, a proposal he said he recently discussed with U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.
INTEREST RATES
On Thursday at 1400 there will be a press conference by the head of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapinski, who will discuss the economic situation in Poland and justify Wednesday's decision of the Monetary Policy Council, which left interest rates unchanged.
BANK PKO BP
Poland's PKO BP PKO.WA posted a 259% year-on-year rise in fourth-quarter net profit on Thursday, due to improving income from core activities.
ALLEGRO
Poland's biggest e-commerce platform Allegro ALEP.WA expects its earnings to rise 8-12% in Poland this year, it said on Thursday while proposing an around 1.4 billion zloty ($363.95 million) share buyback.
