WIND TURBINE ACT
On Tuesday, the Polish government will consider the draft wind turbine act, which is to, among other things, reduce the minimum distance of wind farms from residential buildings from 700 to 500 meters, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.
POLL
According to a Opinia24 poll for RMF FM, support for the ruling Civic Coalition is 34%, and for the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) 26.3%. In third place was the far right Confederation party with support at 21.4%. Since December 2024, this party's ratings have increased by over 7 percentage points, RMF FM reported.
DEBT
On Tuesday at 1030, the Polish Ministry of Finance will hold bond auctions worth 6.0-10.0 billion zlotys ($1.57-2.61 billion).
PUBLIC FINANCES
Poland's finance ministry has never had so much money on its budget accounts, Puls Biznesu daily reported. The ministry had 203.8 billion zlotys on its zloty and FX accounts at the end of February, the newspaper reported.
UNIMOT
Unimot UNTP.WA intends to extend its activities to extracting natural gas, Puls Biznesu reported. The company may work with partners or buy stakes in existing projects.
