BORDERS
Poland will extend controls along its borders with fellow European Union members Germany and Lithuania by six months until October 1, its interior ministry said on Saturday.
FUEL PRICES
A package of laws reducing fuel prices at Polish gas stations comes into effect on Monday, in response to the war in Iran. The measures included in the bills reduce excise duty and VAT and introduce a maximum price per liter of fuel, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.
PKO BP BANK
PKO BP, Poland's largest bank, will have opened four foreign branches by the end of this year, and will ultimately have 12, Puls Biznesu daily reports.
