INFLATION
On Tuesday, the statistical office will release flash CPI for March. Analysts polled by Reuters estimate that inflation accelerated to 3.2% year-on-year from 2.1% in February.
PATRIOT BATTERIES
Due to the war in Iran, the U.S. has suggested that Poland considers redeploying one of its two Patriot batteries to the Middle East, Rzeczpospolita daily reported, citing unofficial information. A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense denied this information.
VISIT TO UKRAINE
On Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski will participate in an informal meeting of European foreign ministers in Kyiv. The EU foreign ministers are expected to discuss further support for Ukraine.
BUDGET
There is no need to revise Poland's 2026 budget and the government has no plans to change annual retirement bonuses and child benefits, Polish Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski told Polsat News television on Monday.
