PKO BP AND ALLEGRO

The CEO of PKO BP PKO.WA, Poland's largest bank, said that thanks to its partnership with Allegro ALEP.WA, the bank will acquire at least one million new customers, and entrepreneurs operating on Allegro will benefit from PKO BP financing worth approximately 1.5 billion zlotys ($412.48 million), Puls Biznesu daily reported.

BANK HANDLOWY

Polish corporate lender Citi Bank Handlowy BHW.WA on Thursday posted a 14% fall in its third-quarter net profit, as lower net interest income and higher bad loans provisions weighed.

GRUPA AZOTY

Polish chemical firm Grupa Azoty ATTP.WA plans to issue 33.7 million shares worth about 600 million zlotys ($165 million) addressed to Poland's state treasury, the company said late on Wednesday.

CARREFOUR STORES

French retailer Carrefour has received three offers to purchase its stores in Romania. These were submitted by Romanian home improvement chain Dedeman, Polish convenience store group Zabka, and French supermarket chain Auchan, Puls Biznesu daily reported, citing the website Profit.ro.

DATA

On Thursday at 0900, the statistical office will release flash data on Poland's economic growth in the third quarter of 2025. Analysts polled by Reuters expect it to accelerate to 3.7% year-on-year from 3.4% in the second quarter.

JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS

Poland's president said on Wednesday he would refuse to nominate or promote judges who question the status of colleagues appointed under a contested system introduced by the previous government, potentially complicating efforts to reform the judiciary.
