INTEREST RATES
Poland's central bank cut its main interest rate by another 25 basis points to 4.25% on Wednesday, citing slowing inflation and an improved outlook, the National Bank of Poland said in a statement.
LNG FROM US
Poland is working on a deal to import liquefied natural gas from the U.S. to supply Ukraine and Slovakia, an agreement that would further strengthen the European Union's energy ties with the US, two sources familiar with the negotiations said.
