Poland's top insurer PZU beats Q3 profit forecast

GDANSK, Nov 21 (Reuters) - PZU PZU.WA , Poland's leading insurer, on
Thursday reported a third-quarter profit that exceeded market expectations.
Its net profit fell almost 18% year-on-year to 1.22 billion zlotys ($296.9
million), while analysts polled by the company were expecting a bigger drop to
1.09 billion zlotys on average.
