ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 2 hours): DATA On Thursday, the statistical office will release data on Poland's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in the first quarter of 2026. Analysts polled by Reuters estimate that it slowed to 3.7% year-on-year from 4.0% in the fourth quarter of 2025. ALLEGRO ALEP.WA Poland's biggest e-commerce platform Allegro ALEP.WA raised the 2026 outlook for its international business on Thursday, as its first-quarter earnings beat market expectations. PZU PZU.WA Poland's top insurer PZU PZU.WA reported a smaller-than-expected drop in first-quarter net profit on Thursday, hurt by weakness in its mass property insurance segment and softer contribution from its banking arm. PKO BP PKO.WA Poland's biggest lender PKO BP PKO.WA reported a 2% rise in its first-quarter profit on Thursday, as a drop in legal provisions related to Swiss franc mortgages and higher fee income countered interest rate cuts and a tax hike. ELECTRIC CARS The first electric car from a Polish factory is expected to be ready in 2029 and sold throughout Europe. Initial production is expected to reach 100,000 units a year, with half of the components coming from Poland, Rzeczpospolita daily reported. CRYPTOCURRENCIES On Thursday, the Polish parliament will vote on four bills regulating the cryptocurrency market. These include two parliamentary bills and proposals from the government and the president.
