Poland has a period of good economic conditions ahead of it, with solid economic growth and inflation within target expected for next year, say economists surveyed by the European Financial Congress (EKF), but they caution this is the last moment to put the state's finances in order, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
POCZTA POLSKA
Polish national postal service Poczta Polska could benefit by taking over energy firm Orlen's PKN.WA parcel locker business Orlen Paczka, but it must first secure financing, State Assets Minister Wojciech Balczun told Puls Biznesu daily, adding that talks with the finance ministry were ongoing on granting public support.
PEKAO PZU MERGER
Works are ongoing on legislation that would enable a merger between two state-owned companies, lender Bank Pekao PEO.WA and insurer PZU PZU.WA, State Assets Minister Wojciech Balczun told Puls Biznesu daily.
