Polish central bank to publish net inflation data at 1200.
FLOOD
Poland's government will hold an extraordinary meeting at
0900 due to the flood situation.
CONSTRUCTION
This year construction companies could see a record number
of bankruptcies, as the lack of government tenders and specific
strategic plans is increasingly hur+ting builders, Puls Biznesu

NATURAL GAS
The price of natural gas during the fall-winter season will
remain relatively stable, as long as there ar enot significant
and sudden events in the market, but domestic demand will remain

BANKS
State-owned insurer PZU PZU.WA is weighing options for
Banks Pekao PEO.WA and Alior ALRR.WA , which it co-owns and
since politicians are ruling out divestment, there is a
possibility of a merger, according to analysts cited by Puls

BONDS
Poland's savings bond sales in August amounted to a record
of almost 11 billion zlotys ($2.86 billion), Rzeczpospolita
