Polish insurer PZU's fourth-quarter profit meets market estimates

GDANSK, Poland, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Poland's top insurer PZU PZU.WA reported a 12% drop in its fourth-quarter net profit on Thursday, broadly in line with market expectations.

Its quarterly net profit fell to 1.47 billion zlotys ($412 million), from the 1.68 billion zlotys reported a year ago. Analysts polled by the company were expecting 1.46 billion zlotys on average.
