** Shares of chemical firms rise after U.S. President Donald Trump authorized a 90-day pause, effective immediately, as part of his tariff plan

 ** Dow DOW.N and DuPont DD.N jump 15% and 11.8%, respectively; Celanese CE.N gains 17.3%

** Coating makers PPG Industries PPG.N and Sherwin-Williams SHW.N up 6.9% and 11.4%, respectively

** LyondellBasell LYB.N up 13%, Chemours CC.N jumps ~26%
