PPG Industries gains on plans to build new aerospace coatings facility

** Shares of global paint supplier PPG Industries PPG.N up 1.2% at $108.09

** Company says it will invest $380 million to build a new aerospace coatings and sealants manufacturing facility in Shelby, North Carolina

** It is set to commence in October and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027

** PPG says the facility will produce the full line of its aerospace coatings and sealants

** Including session's moves, PPG shares down 9.5% YTD
