India's Praj Industries rises on quarterly profit rise

** Shares of India-based biotechnology co Praj Industries
 PRAJ.NS  rise as much as 5.2% to 527 rupees; last up 4.6% 
    ** Co reported a 4.3% Y/Y rise in its March-qtr consolidated
net profit to 919.3 mln rupees ($11 mln)
    ** Revenue from operations rose 1.5% Y/Y 
    ** PRAJ's board of directors also proposed a final dividend
of 6 rupees per share
    ** More than 1.2 mln shares change hands by 10:15 a.m. IST,
2.1x the 30-day avg
    ** Including session's move, stock is down 5.6% YTD
