U.S. stocks looked set to snap a four-day rally on Thursday as disappointing
holiday-season results from Macy's hammered retail stocks and no clear signs of
a resolution emerged from U.S.-Chinese trade talks. .N 

At 10:57 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.08 percent at
23,859.15. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.18 percent at 2,580.3 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.02 percent at 6,955.736.
