PriceSmart falls on lower Q1 profit

** Shares of Warehouse club chain operator PriceSmart
 PSMT.O  down 6.2% at $87.63 in extended trading 
    ** Company reports Q1 net income of $37.4 mln, or $1.21 per
share, compared with $38.05 mln, or $1.24 per share, a year ago
    ** Posts an 8.2% jump in total operating expenses to $1.20
bln from $1.11 bln a year ago 
    ** Posts total revenue of $1.26 bln, compared with $1.17 bln
for the same period last year
    ** Stock rose ~17% in 2024
