PriceSmart hits over 7-month high as Q2 sales jump 11%

** Warehouse club chain's shares  PSMT.O  rise as much as
~8% to touch an over seven-month high of $86.40 in early trading
    ** Stock on pace for best day since Nov. 2020
    ** PSMT after market hours on Thursday reported a 10.8% jump
in Q2 revenue to $1.04 bln  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASA036TB
    ** Says its membership base has grown to an all-time high,
with a record renewal rate of 89.8%
    ** Net income attributable to PSMT rose to $31.5 mln, or
$1.03 per share, from $28.2 mln, or 92 cents/shr a year earlier
    ** Stock up ~17% this year
