U.S. stocks rose on Friday, boosted by a surge in Nike on its strong earnings
report and as banking stocks soared after clearing the Federal Reserve's stress
test.  .N 
    At 12:00 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.91 percent at
24,436.8. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.74 percent at 2,736.44 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.57 percent at 7,546.118.
