March 2 (Reuters) - Spain-based media group Prisa PRS.MC aims to raise its yearly revenue to 1.12 billion euros ($1.30 billion) by 2029, it said on Tuesday, after failing to fully achieve its 2025 goals.
Prisa, which sells educational books and operates radio and press networks in the Iberian Peninsula and South America, in February reported a fourth-quarter net profit of 20 million euros. However, higher taxes and earlier charges sank its full-year result in the red.
Under its new 2026-2029 strategy, Prisa sees 2029 core earnings (EBITDA) at 240 million euros.
It sees average annual EBITDA growth of 10% and revenue growth of 5% during the strategic period.
Prisa expects its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio to fall below 3.0x by 2029.
It has no debt maturities until then due to its new refinancing.
Editorial unit Santillana's 2029 revenue is expected at 600 million euros, EBITDA at 175 million euros.
Prisa Media's revenue is seen at 520 million and EBITDA at 74 million euros.
